- Limited exposure to cyclicality, discretionary spending and short-term trends
- Primary focus: industrial manufacturing and consumer
- High level of cross-border M&A activity from global strategic players

Characteristics- €5mn to €50mn enterprise value
- Ability to grow across multiple avenues — not reliant on a single driver
- Sustainable, high gross margins (30% and above)
- Low customer concentration and recurring revenues

Deal
Characteristics- Majority control, or significant minority with governance and exit rights
- Capital structure that optimizes returns and mitigates downside risk
- Only friendly transactions
- Reasonable entry valuation
